Doyeon Park is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Political Science at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He earned M.A. and B.A. in Political Science from Jeonbuk National University, South Korea. His primary research interest is to explore how political elites strategically communicate with the mass public to advance their interests. He is also interested in the effects of these strategies on public attitudes. Methodologically, he focuses on applying machine learning to his research, with a particular emphasis on quantitative text analysis.
